This form is for those interested in serving on the panel for the inaugural year of the Whitney Scholarship.
Founded by Gabrielle Gutierrez, who was a mentee of Whitney Rydbeck, this scholarship honors Whitney's love of the arts by nurturing emerging artists who reflect the curiosity, humor, and integrity he modeled throughout his life.
The scholarship launches with private funding and sponsorship from OutFox Entertainment. The vision is to grow annually, increasing award amount, recipients, and sponsors.
The selection panel will thoughtfully review applications and award recipients. The panel will include:
Industry professionals with relevant expertise.
Individuals who knew Whitney Rydbeck professionally or personally.
Community minded persons to provide objectiveness.
In recognition of their expertise and time, each selected panel member will be offered a disclosed honorarium, with the option to voluntarily waive this compensation if they wish.
